Our servicesChronic pain

Clinical services

Depending on the patient’s individual circumstances and clinical needs, rehabilitation may take one of two different pathways:

Chronic pain services (adults, young adults and adolescents): these services are for those individuals whose pain is persistent, disabling and not adequately helped by other treatments.

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) service (adults and young adults): this service is tailored to those with a diagnosis or symptoms of CRPS where physical rehabilitation may still be helpful even for those with long-term symptoms.

The needs of patients with diagnoses or symptoms of CRPS may best be met by either of these two pathways, depending on individuals’ symptoms.

Breast Radiotherapy Injury Rehabilitation Service - this service is a highly specialised service for those who experiencing pain from injury following radiotherapy for breast cancer.
