Research and outcomes

We provide specialist scientific advice, instrumentation and imaging to support research projects across the range of specialities within our trust. We have close links with the University of Bath and the medical physics department at our local district general hospital. Recent research areas include microvascular function in connective tissue disease, imaging in localised scleroderma, mechanisms of complex regional pain syndrome, assistive technology for stroke patients, and 3D ultrasound imaging of joints.
